Nokia 3310

The Nokia 3310 was released in the fall of 2000 and it perhaps lacks some of the features that the more modern mobile phones have, but it is a great little candy-bar style handheld which has been doing extremely well on the global market.

The Nokia 3310 measures 5.2 x 2.24 x 0.79 inches, it weighs 4.8 ounces and it uses exchangeable front and back casing covers which allows for a wide variety of colors as well as patterns that have been produced by a number of different companies.

Some of the many features that have been built into the compact structure of the Nokia 3310 are:

  • Screen - A 5-line monochrome graphic display screen, 84 x 48.
  • Ringtones – 37 fixed plus 7 downloadable ringtones which provide 6 ringing tone levels and 10 volume levels.
  • Battery – Standard, NiMH 900 mAh (BMC-3) allowing 4.5 hours of talk time and 260 hours of standby time. Internal, 1000 mAh Li-Ion (BBLC-2) allowing 4.5 hours of talk time and 245 hours of standby time.
  • Memory – SIM card only.
  • Messaging – SMS
  • Games – Snake II, Pairs II, Space Impact, Bantumi.
  • Additional features – Clock, alarm, calculator, voice dial, currency converter and 2G network (GSM 900 / 1800).
