Nokia N82

The candy-bar style Nokia N82 (measuring 2.0 x 4.4 x 0.7 inches and weighing 4.0 ounces) became a member of Nokia’s Nseries of smartphones that include the N-Gage gaming platform and the Nokia Music store when it was first announced in November of 2007.

The Nokia N82 features a powerful 5 megapixel, 2592 x 1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics camera with autofocus and xenon flash, which gives it the distinction of being the first Nokia mobile phone to utilize the xenon technology. This powerful little handheld also includes a secondary CIF (VGA 30 fps) video call camera.

The Nokia N82 is available in black or silver and its additional significant features are:

  • A generous 2.4 inch QVGA LCD display screen that includes an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation and 240 x 320 pixels which support 16.7 million colors.
  • It runs on Symbian ) S v9.2 based S60 3rd Edition platform with Feature Pack 1.
  • BP-6MT (1050 mAh) battery that allows up to 260 minutes of talk time and up to 225 hours of standby time.
  • 128 MB internal dynamic memory (RAM) and 120 MB internal flash memory plus a memory card slot of up to 2 GB.
  • WLAN 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB 2.0 and Nokia 3.5 mm AV Connector.
